Summary:

Sam Bryan has revised the earlier classic made by Julian Bryan depicting Jewish history and the events surrounding the creation of Israel up to 1948. In this newer version, modern Israel to the present is discussed. As in the earlier film, an animated sequence depicts Jewish history from the beginning to the early 1900’s. Live footage then reveals the activities that resulted in the creation of modern Israel. The final sequence of the film shows the social, economic, political, and geographical aspects of Israel in the 1970’s. In addition to being a fine historical documentary, the film serves as a good travelogue.
