Summary:

The purpose of this 2-reel picture is to convince the public that the first suspicion of cancer should be followed by an immediate medial examination, and not hidden behind the needless fears and taboos that have long clouded the minds of many (Julien Bryan "black book" film guide). Expressionistic drama produced to support the American Cancer Society and to encourage people to seek early treatment for cancer. A woman is so frightened by possible cancer symptoms that she loses her ability to cope with life. Fortunately, she received help from the ACS, has a biopsy, and undergoes a successful cancer operation. Deciding to help others, the woman the joins the society's "Field Army" of volunteers.
